In the Beginning

The Light burst into being as stars and suns. Their vibrations sending waves of light into a Great Dance. Some came together as Fire while others disappeared into Space. What came together began to spin. Their dance invited more Light to join in. So it did. The light waves, the sun spirits, the fire, all the same, came together. Spinning and spinning to the hum of the universe evolving and flowing.

In this infinite Space-- the abyss- there is an ongoing dance intricately paced. It began with the Light becoming Fire that burned bright into the night sky of space and time. The vibrations shimmered and shook until the fire grew. Faster and faster until the sun spirits collided in Space. The Space cooled down the flame calling the air spirits into being as the fire released its heat into Space. Air began to swirl rapidly with the dance of Fire cooling and colliding with the light again and again.

Then the Earth began to form. Rising from the center of the flame where the Air was spinning. A solid mass— compact— growing and growing in the Great Dance. The Earth Spirit awakening at the center. Air continued to move with the Earth in its swirling dance. Speeding up and slowing down to form currents. The area between Air and Space became heavy. As the heaviness grew with weight, heat coming from the nearest star, our Sun, was contained. In the space between the Earth and the Air the temperature increased until more heat began to rise and the elements reached a climax in the sky. Then it rained for the very first time.

 Water. The Fifth Element came to the Earth in a burst of energy and movement. A flow of rain that brought shape by contouring and elevating the land. The areas that were the lowest collected water each time until the great ocean waters filled up.

These elements— Space, Light, Air, Earth, and Water—all coming together for our Earth to be born. It was this Great Dance that sparked existence. This planet — an Earth Spirit — awake with consciousness to give life to the oceans.
